Hello!
My name is Kari, and I'm a Senior Graphic Designer at GS&F with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in Printmaking from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. My background in printmaking sparked a love for making things by hand, from inking plates and pulling prints to experimenting with color and process. That experience continues to influence the way I think about design today. I've always been drawn to creating, whether it's something tangible you can hold or a digital experience brought to life on screen.
That maker mentality shapes the way I approach every project. I'm fascinated by the details that give work depth, purpose, and personality. Whether I'm building a brand identity, developing campaign visuals, or creating motion that enhances a story, I enjoy turning ideas into experiences people can connect with. Thoughtful typography, intentional composition, and motion that adds meaning are at the core of my work.
Collaboration is an essential part of my process. Some of the strongest ideas I've helped bring to life have come from working closely with teammates, exploring possibilities together, and refining concepts into thoughtful, impactful design. My goal is simple: create work that resonates with people, solves problems, and leaves a lasting impression.
